About Amber Leigh
Since 2001, she has had the pleasure of providing her voice to a vast array of online projects from fan projects to songs. She has always favored lending her voice to any sort of original production be is a visual project or an audio drama. 2001 was also around that same time that Amber first set foot upon the stage in such productions as "Footloose" and "Wonderful Town."
She earned a B.A. in Communication Arts with an Emphasis in the Theatre Arts from Marywood University where she took a liking to the world behind the scenes as well. She specialized in costuming, light design, as well as children's theatre direction. Directly after graduation, she entered into an internship with the Disney College Program where she had the pleasure of creating magic every day. It put pixie dust in Amber's veins and now there is no getting out.
As of 2010, she has had a weekly gig as a host for the podcasts featured on the Ydoc Nameloc Interactive Network. In 2012, Amber had the honor of co-founding a place she takes true pride in. Vocal Loco is a small but welcoming voice acting community who's doors are always open for online voice actors, singers, producers, and really just enthusiasts of all the above. It is there for you to share your talents, learn from others, and just feel like you have a place to share your passion. It means so much to Amber as it is like having come full circle. She has helped to create a place very much like the first online voice acting community she joined way back when.
In her spare time, she has a passion for photography. When she can combine her love of the performing arts with the love of photography, it is truly a match made in heaven for Amber.
